Have you seen the video of the guy in the red shirt asking the awesome World of Warcraft question at Blizzcon?

He's put out a new video in which he confirms that he does have Aspergers:

Pretty cool.

I think it's cool how he could just come out and say it. 8)

I could kinda 'tell'. He's a bit stronger on the spectrum than some, so I think it was obvious. Kudos for poking the big Blizzard beast and winning though!

I agree-- it is kind of obvious. In a way I think that makes it braver, especially since lots of people online have made fun of him.

His voice gives him away -- it's very, very obvious.

Red Shirt Guy has now been integrated into the World of Warcraft as a character called the Windhammer Fact Checker. Yes, it's real.

Cool, huh?

I'm glad that, for the most part, he wasn't mocked, but cheered and applauded throughout the internet for his attention to detail. Just one advantage to having an interest in a rather nerdy thing. Watching the video I do have to say this. I didn't see anything that outstanding... I mean he was nervous, but I've yet to hear a person asking questions in such a forum sound anything but nervous. And noticing something that seemed to have been over-looked by the creators of WoW is cool, but not surprising. The characters and history of the game goes back years and years, even before WoW. It's a huge expanse of mythology and crazy weird names to sort out. So it's understandable if a character or two get lost in all of that, only to be found again by a fan. But still, cheers to him for making a second video. I just didn't see anything out of the ordinary with him getting up and asking his question, other than it seemed to really surprise the panel people.
