People will do whatever they have to do in order to be more understood and listened to. If the occasional homicide is required, then cest la vie.

Life isn't pretty and individual survival is even greater when things are obscenely tough.

its often the police who push things in that direction, the mainstream media tends to portray demos as violent given a chance (and attribute it all to the evil 'anarchists') its only by talking to people who attended / watching amateur footage etc that we can get a reasonably balanced impression of the atmosphere.

I think a certain amount of violence at protests next year is inevitable when the cuts really start to hit hard, but for now i would expect a disabled protest would tend to be a relatively dignified place.

Its not a specifically 'autistic' movement though, there will be many 'NTs' - so likely to get VERY noisy.

Thanks for posting this pysch! I started a similar thread on this a while back. I will join the facebook groups above. To me this is currently the most important issue as an AS sufferer.

not long ago we ( the AS movement) were talking about raising public awareness and understanding etc. Now i think a lot of us would just be happy to hold onto our homes and basic support.

I fancy coming to the demo actually psych. I suffer from social anxiety though which makes me panic if i for instance "get lost". Normally if i'm meeting a friend i ask them to meet me at the train station i arrive at. It makes me feel a whole lot better.

I'm sure this will be well attended since most claimants are disabled or mentally ill. They may aswell just put us down i'm sure that would save millions.
