Thanks d057 and I really like what you wrote. Ironically, bullies can be 'the professionals' which makes it all worse...sigh. But you're right in always best to move on. No one should have to endure bullying, which is sheer torture. I think the Wrong Planet can do a lot about curbing bullies as Aspies tend to be prime targets.

I don't think those people who bullied Tyler Clementi are going to learn their lesson, unfortunately. Like I said, they are afraid to admit they did it.

^ Yeah, I guess that's why bullying can be so elusive and it's practically allowed...... :cry: I'd hope that when/if bullying is reported that it's taken with the utmost seriousness, to be immediately addressed. Just so sorry about Tyler and so many others.

The answer is self-evident if you think about it. Bullies bully because that it their, albeit self-appointed, job. They are the world's bouncers, the enforcers of community values, smug guardians of conformity. Bullies don't consider themselves bullies. They think of themselves more like social policemen and their targets as, if not criminals, threats to the established order.
