If you visit Idaho, I would not patronise
Famous Dave's Barbecue.

Kevin Falsely accused my brother of videotaping
his wait staff.

My brother was recording the crowd noise
on the superbowl night, the camera was
behind a bunch of stuff on the table
and not pointed up at the staff.

I was the one with the camera snapping
photos of the artwork on their walls and
Kevin said nothing to me about my photos.
WHY WAS THERE NO SIGN POSTED??

Kevin said "I don't care, we don't want
you autistics in here with your video cameras!"

He just assumed that my brother was
"autistic" and did not even consider me,
when I am probably a little more severe
than my brother (brother is more AS
than "autistic", I think)

Kevin was rude and accusing and did not seem
to care that we will not be back.

Don't bother going there, unless you
love being falsely accused and talked
down to, it is your choice, as it
is my choice to Never patronise this
weak excuse of a sewage treatment plant
again.

Famous Dave's is a publicly traded franchise subject to the regulations set forth by the American's with Disabilities Act, and other regulations which prohibit discrimination of various types.

If Kevin is not the franchisee then I would complain to his boss, and I would file a former complaint with the proper entities. They have a right to prohibit photography, and audio/video recording but he his wording was discriminatory against those on the spectrum.

I agree that they have the right to prohibit
or allow such things, but I also believe that
they need to post a sign stating such,
I would have gladly obeyed it.

I have called their corporate office
on this matter.

Also agree. Your post was hard enough to follow to begin with, the enter key spam makes it that much worse. As it is, I'm having a hard time believing any of that actually happened, or at least not the way you have described.

I have a realllllllyyyyyyy hard time believing this. Not only would a manager not do this, and make his company liable to law suit. If you were recording the sound wouldn't you have the conversation recorded?
