Now I've finished uni, I want to do some protesting in London [preferably] about the DLA being scrapped. I've asked all of my aspie friends at uni, and weirdly they don't care. If there are enough people who are interested in joining me next week [day unknown yet], please reply here :) I may make a facebook event too if there are a lot.

Thanks

facebook had a big purge of anti-cuts activists recently. I suppose people still use it though.

I think without a network in place you'll need a lot longer than a week to organise a protest. You might be better off linking up with existing groups?

london autistic rights movement have a meeting on saturday http://larmuk.webs.com/
disability activist meeting in lambeth next week; http://thelambethpandisabilityforum.blo ... rvive.html
protest on the 7th http://benefitclaimantsfightback.wordpr ... t-fool-us/

this is a good (if abrasive) forum for keeping abreast of protests etc. http://www.urban75.net/vbulletin/forum.php
