Anybody else fed up?
The quality of debate on this thread is dire and needs to improve or it will become astro turf for a single member.
What can we do to reverse this trend?

To be honest mate, I don't care where they are from.
It is important that all schools of thought on Autism Politics are able to make their points in a lucid and constructive manner. It is also likely that quality and intelligent debate will yield positive results.
This seems like a good forum to facilitate this,.
this forum is frustrating,im up for a change.no one here seems to go to the general disability forums.im frustrated that the mainsteam disability foums dont take people with autism and mental retardation seriously.we need a group stategy to take on the mainstream disability movement

I'm bored , I just want to explode some myths. You know run around, 'blow ideological and theoretical sh*t up'. I don't mean that literally, I mean deconstruct social and clinical theory. It's so frustrating it's all sitting out there and , well it's asking for a deconstruction. I can't help it
I get twitchy if I can't do this stuff.

I'd like this forum a lot more if it weren't for this one poster who I'm not going to nme. I'm so sick of his constant threadshitting and endless complaints about ASAN/people who aren't 100% pro-cure. I get it, he hates ASAN. He doesn't need to complain in every thread. >_<

ASAN's leadership has hated on a great amount of people in verbiages to get attention. Under state and federal laws individuals have a right to be personally desiring a cure and personally not desiring a cure. I have no problem with individuals who want no cure but they should not ethically remove the ability for another individual to have a choice of their own in their rights to treatment. ASAN has taken center place and have failed to be democratically enabled in internal methods of how it makes public decisions. It is not the fundamental premise of individuals networking together but the ideology and lolled methods of ASAN leaving the greater self-advocacy community without the ability to influence it equally as a so called facilitation of civil rights but to be force fed policy as they dictate representation in some aspect of the greater self-advocacy community.
Those that agree with ASAN entirely or feel threatened by a diversity of opinions in their own personal opinions will not like the idea of a greater representation in facilitation. Yet if a centralized organization wants the respect of the greater self-advocacy community and have an integrity in the mainstream world they must indifferently seek and accept in premise all the minds in their diversity just the same as they profess of a neurodiversity and all minds think differently. Point after point it has been made clear in so many ways ASAN as it is does not represent the greater self-advocacy community and it's behaviors toward the public should not in influence when adverse reflect that of individuals having nothing to do with it.

I'm in no way alienating everyone but would concede the arguments are to enable everyone equally. There is a special nature of the premise of an organization like ASAN. Looking at it as a brand it implies so much but lives up to so little. The organizations fundamental premise is good but in how the party that founded has it function is it's sole decision making and is much like proprietorial formulation and is itself not inclusive to a diversity.
I hope I've dug enough at the issue it has an effect so I don't need to try anymore.

Welcome to autism politics. You either learn to confront the mean political animals with the same to entice improvement or get swallowed whole. Not much different then mainstream politics especially with so many real-life political issues at play like abortion in autism politics. My goal is to get the majority of the divisive issues out of context of autism self-advocacy to improve other more balanced approaches effects. I did not introduce these issues but established organizations have and I want it neutralized for better resolutions for those that have no part in it.

I've got very thick skin don't worry about me. The papers I will release I think will assist in potentially understanding sides and or the potential rationale. My goal is more focus on progress as a whole no matter side because sides won't go away.
