Autism speaks censorship test.

I am going to see whether autism speaks still has a censorship program. my scientific test is that i will enter below quoted text when making an autism speaks forum profile. then i will wait for the mods there to approve it. the history behind this is that in 2009 they banned me for saying that i was a successful autistic on their forum. apparently they also came to this forum to ask alex to edit asp-Z for making a parody post about them. so i am going to see how far they will go for me saying that i am an autistic doing well in life. at autism speaks the system is that the mods read your info before you are allowed to become a member. if they let me join i will post an update here. maybe an edit to the original post or a comment.

here is what my profile will say:

To clarify, I was never banned, but a post of mine was removed from WP because it parodied Autism Speaks in an Onion style.

I'll actually be interested to see what Autism Speaks will about your registration to their forum. They're trying to improve their PR by the looks of things, so they should let you in.

I will be pretty shocked if they ban you. I know for a fact that they read these forums regularly to see what autistics have a problem with so that they can make changes.

i didn't say you were i don't think. but yeah i'm awaiting their approval of my info. it just shows they want to control everything that they have that stupid system. i never had that issue when i joined wp.

You said in the OP that they asked Alex to ban me, which is incorrect. A moderator removed the post after being contacted by someone from Autism Speaks. I was never banned. Later discussion of the incident was also removed from the forums, however.

I'd also like to point out that the post in question was quoting from another website.

As I said, though, this was all a long time ago, so we'll see what they do now.

is a claim being stated that wrongplanet would ban someone for what they said on autism speaks.and that autism speaks would ban someone for what they said on W.R

no. that is not a claim. the claim is that in the past autism speaks has sensored criticism on this forum.

Update: i have joined and i am already giving advice to parents and scientists to steer away from quack "detox" treatments and not to torture kids.

Given your link to one of AUtism Speak's authorities I wonder if they might be aware of this.

It happened last year. I was pissed off last year. WP and Autism Speaks no longer seem to be engaging in such censorship, they've learnt the error of their ways. Why would I still be pissed off?

And are you actually stalking all the other threads I've posted in just so you can make comments like that? How about you go do something productive?
