i recently joined autism speaks forums on a dare. i found that they didn't censor me like i thought they would. many people on that forum are predictably misled. you can help convince them of our point of view. hopefully a grassroots change like this would lead autism speaks to make better decisions from the bottom up. when you join please remember to be civil, more civil than we are here at least. that will make us look valid. here is the link. http://autismspeaksnetwork.ning.com/

I think they have plenty to hide. I will post about that soon. You also have to wait for a mod to approve your membership. In 2009 they turned down my request because I said I was a successful autistic.

You can see the introductory portions of Aspie 48's posts over there, but to see the entire post you have to join the forum. From what I can see Aspie 48 is doing a great job keeping the conversation constructive, and he appears to be getting some good responses from other members of the support group. You've got alot of interesting stories from your personal life to share there, that will probably be appreciated by many of the other folks there, that don't get the opportunity to discuss issues with teenagers with autism.

You seem to have alot of energy and that is a good place to put it to use.

Ok I just had a quick look.

On the front page there is vaccine denial and a big up for homoeopathy and acupuncture.

WTF is wrong with these people?

Well, this sounds like they do believe that too.

Eurgh, and they actually do respond like they are against vaccines.

Then there is the issue of Tracking Cookies, Under Homeland Security Autism Speaks has a right to know where those who register and give up all rights, go when they are not on Autism Speaks.

In partnership with The Chinese State, they have a right to track disidents, subversives, on the web, and through their cell phones.

The Autism Speaks Media Company has Trademarked Autism, and is out to shut down all other views.

Ignore the Trolls and Spam Bots.

How is this against tos? I am not threatening anybody. I never said I agreed to autism speaks. I hate them. My method is not direct combat, it is infiltration. I am encouraging others to do the same.
