Alex Plank should be a menswear model. He simply "has it." :)
He is collegiate/Pierre Cardin. I'm NOT joking! LOOK AT HIM!! !! !! If you don't see it, then you must be blind!

He looks a bit like Rick Moranis to me.

I'll probably get kicked off this board for saying this, but quite frankly, I wish I didn't have to see his face on most every webpage of this site. It has nothing to do with his looks, but I hate feeling "stared at" by the same photo over and over again.
And that other woman on the main page with the article who has that "come hither" look, I just want to run away from it!

He just dresses the part of geek fashion. At least the girl on the front page looks like a normal person with Asperger's. But the bubble blowing pictures are excessively sexual. I don't think that is necessary. I also think she didn't need to be featured twice, especially since she didn't have much to say in either piece.

So here is how this site is run: the featured men are always stereotypical geeks while the women are always hot and always have an overtly sexual component to them. What would be wrong with having some normal aspies, or some gender cross-over once in awhile (hot aspie guy who looks like Matt Bomer and geeky girl with glasses, for example)?

^^^I agree. Why not feature one of us for a change. I'm tired of seeing those hot chicks who only come in a size 0. Not all of us are geeks, either. There's over 70,000 of us to choose from. Why doesn't he choose one of us. When I saw the latest girl to be featured, I was thinking in my mind, "Another on of those".

It's often the same girl. The Danish girl who blows bubbles.

What I don't like is that all the guys who are featured are ugly geeks. It's not just that all the girls are hot and sexual, which is its own problem. For once, pick a girl geek and a stereotypically hot guy.

I know who Maja Toudal (the girl on the front) is, one of her YouTube videos was the cause which led to me discovering I was an Aspie.

You all have valid points, and more people should be featured (if they are writing articles like she is), but I think a few of you are misunderstanding why she's being featured.

* She is professionally devoting herself to Aspergers and Autism advocacy. How many others of the 70,000 are doing the same?
* She has already done a lot with her YouTube series about Asperger's; she doesn't speak for everyone but she's careful not to. Her videos are actually very helpful and insightful I think.
* She has personally interviewed and consulted with people like Tony Atwood.
* I don't know why they picked one of her modeling shots, but that was just something she used to do because she was offered a job in it. She doesn't anymore, but she talks about it in some of her videos when discussing how she learned to "act NT". I'm sure she has other pictures too, but I don't know if they're available.

Honestly, I think she deserves to be there for reasons that have nothing to do with her looks. And I think it's helpful in a way to demonstrate that people like her can be Aspies too; it makes people stop and think about their stereotypes.

However, if anyone else is doing her kind of work, I do agree that they should be featured too; whether they are more or less attractive. And if WP starts featuring photos of "everyday Aspies", then of course any of us deserves to be included.

The question is, why aren't there any men like her being featured? Why are all the AS men featured on Wrong Planet ugly as f**k while all the women are hot?

I'm not sure, are they? The only one I've seen is Alex, I haven't been here long. The OP thinks he's rather good-looking at least.
