Calling for Alabamians on the Spectrum

Autism spectrum counselor and ASD awareness activist Gerri Taylor and I wish to launch the first Alabama chapter of the Autistic Self Advocacy Network (ASAN). Our goals are mostly to provide support for the grossly underserved adult ASD community and further education in the community. We are looking for Alabamians interested in joining the cause and/or looking for a support organization. We are in the Montgomery tri-county area, but as there are no ASAN chapters elsewhere in the state, we welcome participation from outside the area.
