I wish I could personally thank the author of this one. It's scary and sad to me that she ever needed to write this, but she did a good job dismantling bad science. I only hope this spreads as far and wide as coverage of autism being linked to serial killers and mass murderers. Claims like that are dangerous. I'd like to applaud Emily Willingham for coming out with this.

i just read that sick and twisted article on FB.i am normaly conservative but i would call that article bigotry straight up.


what mean is the article that provoked the article in discussion.on FB they had the original article that the author in the link is criricizing

Happy to see this article getting picked apart. My Mom was rather worried about how Autists would be treated after this, let alone how I feel about it.

It is great to see it getting picked apart. Unfortunately the stones were already cast, and at least a few people seem to have really latched on to the idea that Autism/Asperger's= serial killer. Still really refreshing to see something like this though.
