Autistic woman in peril and in urgent need of help

Melissia is a 51 year old woman with high functning autism. She works very hard to be self-sufficent but when she moved into her current home, the neighbors bullied her to the point of her being afraid to leave her own home. She has gone to the police, but they ignore her. She has been fighting for her basic rights for over tweny years. The constant stress she has to deal with is starting to affect her health. I wish I could do more to help this poor woman, but I simply don't know what do do.

I see two solutions:

1. Move.

2. Have her consult with an attorney who can give her advice on how to deal with the police, and also how she can legally defend herself (I hope for her sake she's armed while in her home). As expensive as attorneys can be, it's still cheaper than moving--or spending your life living in fear.

Any way we might be able to have, say, between 3 and 10 people write a (polite) letter to the mayor of (?) that town?

This reminds me of these people that think they are being gangstalked yet people aren't really doing anything wrong.

Now compare to other gangstalking videos of people claiming to be harassed. These people read some website of this lady claiming to be gangstalked and read warning signs like bright headlights, missing hubcap etc.. they are actually paranoid schizophrenics trying to show proof they are being stalked, their food contaminated in stores and there is this thing called street theater where all these people walking around in a busy place are doing it to harass them.

So to avoid this drama. Make sure your hubcaps are all there. Don't drive in and out of neighborhoods or you might turn into a gang stalker.

After watching few of the videos she shot, she does sound paranoid. No one is picking on her. They are just minding their own business. She lives on the main side of the road and people happened to use that road and how would they even know who lives there?

I would assume it could be sensory issues that is making her make a huge fuss out of the traffic noise but since she is able to stand there and film it, I don't think so. She just looks paranoid. No wonder the police won't help her. I bet after she moves, the "bullying" will still happen in that spot. She should live on a farm away from the roads but then she may still accuse anyone of bullying her for driving on the roads far away.

If I were to help her, I would try and get her mental help instead but she might still not accept whatever label that would get pinned onto her. She would still believe she is being bullied and that she isn't crazy.

So this all started over a lady who claimed to be a victim of gangstalking. Then through her own awareness campaigns and seminars she gets paid to do, she convinces people it's real and to look out for the warning signs. Some people might have schizophrenia while others naively believe these are actual events going on.
So these people are feeding these delusions with their checklist of normal everyday activities that happen to everyone. This is dangerous to people that are just minding their own business, shopping at stores, driving their cars, driving the wrong color of car.

These targeted individuals as they call themself are the ones who are actually stalking but giving themself the illusion that they can treat these people as criminals and videotape them wherever they go to upload on youtube. Even their license plate numbers. So because of their paranoia, they justify their reasons and because there is a support group giving them the label of targeted individual, these people won't go in for help because others who are having the same delusions tell them it's real. This puts people in danger. Will one of the targeted individuals run someone off the road for driving the wrong color of car or missing a hubcap? Hurt someone for merely being in the same place?

If I were to write this on their blogs or youtubes, they would call me a perp.

So here are the fake warning signs you are a targeted individual and what to look out for. (It's very lengthy.) So the question is...do the people that read this stuff become paranoid or do you think they already had paranoia if they believe it's really happening?

This is one of the saddest situations I've seen in a while. I work in an auto parts store and what she is discribing as "bullying" is normal everyday auto part store activity. We get a constant stream of customers with booming subwoofers, mopeds, stinky trucks and honking forklifts all day and none of it is intentional.

If I lived down the street from one of those places I would probably have mealtdowns too!

Basically, this lady is living is a state of pure self torment and that targeted individual website looks like instructions for constructing your very own hell on earth. I'm sure she will likely end up with the police called on her eventually and it will make her feel even more bullyed

I watched it and thought "Where is the bullying?" She is sadly a bit off. She may be an Aspie but she has other bigger issues that alter her perception of reality.

She is not in any kind of peril except through her own paranoia. Bullying is not when someone drives down the street maybe five or tn miles over the speed limit, or when someone is playing their car stereo a bit too loud, or when someone chooses to ride a bike or a scooter. Her videos show nothin more than a peaceful suburban street, that I can see.

Yes, she may have sensory issues, but no one can expect their neighbors, let alone total strangers who are unaware of the situation, to bend over backwards and change their entire lives and habits to accomodate someone else's sensory issues. It's reasonable to ask a neighbor to not play loud music after 10pm or befre 7 or 8 am. Or to work on a loud car too early in the day on a weekend, but you cannot ask for a ban on certain kinds of vehicles on a street just because you have some strange notion that they are there to bother you.

Not looking out the window constantly with a video camera, and playing some sort of background noise to drown out the traffic noise would be the easy fix for that.

And psychiatric care. Autism can cause sensory issues, but as far as I know, it doesn't cause you to become that paranoid.

But somehow she was able to film it without a problem. Perhaps she wore ear plugs or noise cancelling head phones as she filmed it. I hardly heard anything in the videos except for her voice. Some cars were loud but I can guess she lives close to an intersection so cars are going to be gunning their motors to speed up to the speed limit.

If neither of them are "respecting" her wishes, is that what she is calling bullying? I also notice that she yells at the cars and I doubt the drivers can hear her when she says she is autistic. I doubt they are all the same cars and she thinks they are.

I saw one video where she mentions one of her neighbors ignored her. I would ignore her too since she is crazy. I always ignore people when they make me uncomfortable and if I saw someone always yelling at the traffic and doing false accusations, I would be afraid of them and stay away from them and not have any contact with them. Crazy people scare me. This isn't bullying. She is the bully. I also think the reason why people have moved away was because of her. They wanted to get away from the drama so they moved when they could. I see it's also a Murphy's Law. You ignore her, you are a bully, if you talk to her, you are asking for a conflict because she looks like one of those people who can accuse you of being mean to her when you didn't do anything wrong.

I still think this woman is nuts and she may be autistic but I think she also has a mental illness that causes her to be paranoid. It could be schizophrenia or something else. It's a possibility her past made her this paranoid so she assumes she is being bullied and the voices she claimed she heard in the videos, I hard nothing so maybe it was all in her head and cars she talk about when I saw no car in the video, maybe she is a schizophrenic since she hallucinates. I suppose being bullied badly in their childhood can make them go crazy.

I also wonder if her whole family ignores her because she is crazy? It is sad because families are supposed to help each other and instead they would rather ignore their own relative who needs help. Like why doesn't she go to her siblings and her mother for help, she said they are still in her life and still talk to her. Why don't they try and get her help? Maybe they don't know what's going on because they aren't seeing what she is posting on youtube. She is assuming everyone is seeing her videos, the "bullies," her family but I doubt it. Plus I didn't see any "mean" comments but perhaps she deleted them or it was her hallucination again.

I wonder what will happen if the body shop sees these videos of her filming and yelling at their customers? I wonder if they will call the cops on her? I know that if I had a business and some crazy neighbor was out there filming people coming in and out of my business, I would do everything legal in my power to put a stop to that. That can cause people to stop coming to that business, which would mean loss of income for the owner and workers and even loss of jobs for the workers.

She is definately the bully in his situation, not the innocent people drivng by minding their own business.

If that does happen, I hope she will finally get the help she will need. I know she is crying out for help but basically she is crying out to help with her paranoia. But she might think the doctors and the officers are bullying her and she won't believe it's all in her head no matter what treatment the doctors will try giving her.

But I don't see her as a reason to stop going to that business. I mean they are all in their cars and they can't hear her and they can just ignore her yelling and continue doing their thing pretending like they don't notice it. It's not like she is going over there and threatening them. Instead she is on her property taking videos. Anyone who sees these videos will see there is nothing going on in them and it's the lady who is just crazy.

LOL Can we please make her quit saying she's an Aspie? She's making us look like potential lunatics.

That is meant to be humor for those of you who wont recognize it as such.

What about the approach, if you're a lawyer, the hard clients are the good clients? And if you're a doctor, the hard patients are the good patients. And if you're a teacher, the hard students are the good students, who are exactly why you're in teaching in the first place.

And really, looking at just this video, all I see is a hurt human being, with complaints and issues that on the face of it are eminently reasonable.

6:04 she says that she has had some good years living there and some neighbors who have looked out for her.

8:45 she says if anyone can help her get off this street, please help.

10:02 she again says if anyone can help her get a better place to live, please help.

Yes, it would probably cause me some real issues, too.

And then, if I tried to make a noise complaint and I wasn't treated politely, that would bother me a lot, too.

And who knows, maybe the employees have engaged in petty retaliation.
