Right now in Crest Bill Illinois Paul Modrowski a 42 year old man with Autism is sitting behind bars at the Stateville Correctional Center serving his life without parole prison sentence for absolutely no reason.

Back on April 28th 1993, Paul modrowski was arreated in an ambush after cops suspected that he may be responsible for mass murder where seven people were killed.

As Paul was being arrested, he immediately demanded to see an attorney and because of that he was told that he was not going to see one during his interrogation.

During his interrogation, Paul was not only not allowed to see his attorney, but was beaten up by two police officers, John Robertson, an interrogator from the state attorney's office and John koziol a police officer from the Palatine Police Department, the town where the massacre took place.

Because of how strongly Paul flexed his rights and refused to answer any of the cop's questions comma they made up an allegation that he supposedly lent his car to the murder suspect in a separate trial since they could not get his confession out of any crime.

Even after the murder suspect was acquitted, the prosecution refused to drop any charges.

Using only testimony from a police officer and despite the complete lack of physical evidence and the man who was accused of lending his car to being acquitted comma Paul was so convicted of accountability to first-degree murder on February 17th 1995.

Only one day shy of the second anniversary of Paul's arrest, he was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for absolutely no reason. The judge and the jury at the time we're not aware that Paul had autism because the attorney did not reveal Paul's diagnosis to the jury.

Paul's current attorney is trying to file an appeal to have his DNA tested to prove that he did not commit the murder or have anything to do the crime whatsoever.
