As a service dog owner whose life was drastically improved, this makes me so moved to action!
#SaveHeelingAutism is a program provided for children with Autism and their families by Guiding Eyes for the Blind. GEB's CEO, Tom Panek, recently announced plans to eliminate Heeling Autism, the much needed and beloved program that has provided life-changing safety and independence for children with Autism and their families by pairing them with an Autism Service Dog. Also note, the service dogs in the #SaveHeelingAutism program are the service animals that can't be guide dogs for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. So the Service dogs are missing out too!
