Donna Williams is one of the pioneers of the Neurodiversity movement. Diagnosed with childhood psychosis, in the early 90's she wrote "Nobody Nowhere" and after her Autism diagnosis wrote "Somebody Somewhere". She was at the initial get togethers with Jim Sinclair and a few other autistics that birthed the Neurodiversity movement. The 30 minute interview covers several topics including ABA, how "severe" autism is defined differently in different countries, and we get to hear one of her songs. This interview is possibly the last time we will hear from Donna because as discussed in the interview she has incurable metastatic breast cancer that has spread throughout the liver.
