Why is she called Polly?

How did she die? Cancer?

Daughter: NT, no diagnoses. Possibly OCD. Is very private about herself.

She had breast cancer first discovered in 2011 that had metastasized.

Those of us have accept our autism as more then a horrible curse owe her a debt of gratitude. Inspiring is an overused term, but how she publically faced her terminal illness was inspiring.

Very sad news. Donna Williams was the first person I came across in autism literature and one of the best to articulate her world. I am very honoured to have had a number of nice conversations with her and she will truely be missed.
