Playwright and actor Adam Schwartz delivers his comic lines with the straight-up deadpan that many standups long to perfect. It is a bonus for Schwartz that this lack of affect comes naturally, one of the characteristics that comes with Aspergers, a type of autism.
The show is based on Schwartz's efforts to build a satisfying life for himself while dealing with his disability. Suffice it to say he struggles with the ladies, takes instructions too literally (showing up on casual Fridays at work in pajama pants and slapping colleagues on the butt). The more outrageous his stories, the more laughs. The very end of the performance sees him standing on stage, awkwardly, after the show is over and he's supposed to walk off. The audience is laughing all the way out the door.
