Mangano Unveils Plaque In Recognition Of Autism Awareness

Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano joined members of the Life’s WORC Family Center for Autism in Garden City to unveil a plaque in recognition of Autism Awareness, outside of the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola, on Wednesday, Aug. 30. The Life’s WORC Center offers a multitude of services for children and adults on the autism spectrum, and also provides a lifeline of support for their families. This plaque was installed in conjunction with a tree that Life’s WORC planted outside the Theodore Roosevelt Building in April of 2017, in honor of Autism Awareness Month.
I hope this does not create offence and resulting demands to remove it.
