Back in November on "The Night of Too Many Stars" Carly was scheduled to interview Colbert but glitter on the stage triggered her OCD. Colbert apologized and promised her a redo which happened Friday night. The interview starts at 2:15

I had heard that they simply ran out of time.

I actually watched this interview last night. I think it's great what technology can do for autistics, particularly those like Ms. Fleichmann who don't communicate verbally. I am incredibly happy for her and hope she gets her own talk show.
