We're superior in some ways. But not in everything. And definitely not in the sort of ways which lead to ruling the world.

It sucks to be intelligent and not a leader, though. That's what I found in the workplace.

You don't have to be the leader to be in control.

Organizational skills can get you involved in inventory control.

Cyber-skills can get you involved in I.T. and networking.

Other technical skills can make you the "go-to-guy" for other people's service needs.

Then, when the layoffs come around, you will be more likely to count yourself among the employed, and not among those who used to pick on you ... before they were laid off.

Nothing says "Vengeance" like dodging a bullet meant for someone else.
