My experience has been the opposite. I have run into many more people insisting people use “person with autism” the people insisting people use “autistic”

I've had experiences like this on more than one occasion. It's why I'm trying to not think too much about politics anymore. It's hard to process when the media tells you one thing but your experiences are almost the exact opposite.
