Hi,
Despite the subject heading this is a "why" question.
Why is it that 'some' people seem to be "allowed" to have personal boundaries and yet others aren't? Is this a question of "privilage" and whatever that entails, or is it that some people are ok where their personal boundaries are until it impingies onto another person's personal boundaries and then they try to override the other person.
The reason behind this question is a post elsewhere about communication and conflict resolution. The post reminded me of a situation in my childhood, where I was bullied for being different. No-one asked 'why' it happened, only about what happened.
It is my opinion that most people are too scared to ask "why" a situation occurs, only that it has occurred.
I think the question 'why' should be asked more, we might then get to the truth behind situations. What do others think about this?

I noticed those capable of defending their personal boundaries have them more respected.
As simple as this.
