The UK is going crazy on political correctness. A kid with downs syndrome will most probably love seeing a bus-driver wearing a Christmas shirt, and a kid with autism will probably be more upset by the bright Christmas lights or noise and the crowds of the holidays, and a kid with intellectual disabilities probably won't even notice a bus-driver wearing a Christmas shirt...
It's all just going too far and helping no-one.
