Mixed reaction to Louis Theroux's 'Selling Sex' documentary

Quote:
Louis Theroux's latest documentary 'Selling Sex' aired on BBC Two last night and it's sparked a lot of debate.
It followed three sex workers, giving us a glimpse at their lives and their motivations for working in the sex industry.

23-year-old Ashleigh, a student with Aspergers syndrome, sells sex as a way to pay her way through art school.

My initial reaction is this girl is facing the same financial hurdles that other young people in the UK face when trying to pay their way through school. While she's certainly not the only female student to turn to sex work, her Aspergers makes Louie's documentary a little more alternative (it's kind of what he looks for if you watch his other documentaries).
