Autism treatments and Triggers Broom (AKA Theseus' paradox)
I saw a recent comedy clip from one of the UK`s most successful comedy “only fools & horses”. In it one of the less intellectually gifted characters, street sweeper “Trigger” boasted how he saved his employers money by using the same broom for 20 years, having changed both the handle and brush of the two-part device multiple times. See clip (funny).

Most people on here remember Simon Baron-Cohen article in 2019 where like Autism Speaks, he tried to please everybody by claiming he supports Neurodiversity while at the same time continuing research into autism with the goal of treating or removing the negative elements of autism.

All very reasonable many would say, however Autism is only defined and diagnosed by its negative traits on the DSM5, not by superpowers or special skills (in some) like attention to detail. Surely if all negative traits were individually removed over time, then would it still be Autism?
