Extraordinary Attorney Woo on Netflix in my opinion is the greatest autism representation I've seen in media, and the reason why is because it doesn't go with one representation i.e. autism as a debilitating mental disability or as an attribute of genius but both. The third episode of this series as far as I'm aware shed light on the many facets of this disability that are never shown in conjunction i.e. high-functioning vs low-functioning - self-autonomy, accountability and responsibility, soft bigotry of low expectations - public perception and hostility etc.
I'd love for anyone else whose seen the show to give their takes on its representation of autism and if they haven't seen it I highly recommend giving it a go.
