Which organization do you prefer even if you reside outside of the U.S?

I really do not care for either organization. However, I would be willing to work with them if the cause is right.

Autism Speaks to me has accomplished allot of awareness but I do not like the idea of aborting me if I was to be born in the future instead of before if certain research was successful.

Autism Society of America I'd choose over that of Autism Speaks because it seems like ASA is more into the whole life aspects of people with autism such as IEP's. If it were not for ASA and many others I'm sure certain day services wouldn't be available. So there has been some positive accomplishments somewhere in the negatives.

Therapeutic Employment Transitions

One idea I'm working on despite recession is the concept of compassionate therapeutic employment transitions. Which means people with autism who choose and whom qualify because of the substantial disability present would be allowed to spend certain amounts of time in a real-life job position with a job coach. The job tasks would be entry level and hyper-specific and change over-time and in frequency. The sponsored hours would rotate with other qualifying individuals with and without autism whom experience transitional difficulties in the broadened nature of transitional difficulties. Even if a grocery store for instance I could get private sponsorships to pay for the hours if a business would agree, so that there would be little excuse other then discrimination.

This as a cause that I would want ASA to do as well. I think some with autism might oppose it because it views autism negatively. Any opinions others have here about this?
