It was back in January, because I was hardly going, due to a personal problem.
I'm glad I did, I save money.

Last month, I stared exercising from home. I only have a treadmill, which I will do at least 5K a day, do some running, as much as I can.
I do squats against the wall without pushing my knees out, leg stretches.
I do chin-ups in the pool diving board, or I use a chair and the counter and lift myself up, but dinning room chair hurts my hand.
When my folks get the land they are going to purchase, I will be down there a lot, especially when they build a cottage. They already got stuff for it.
It's kinda private there, not many cottages near by, only a few within a KM, but I think most of them don't use them often, so I can run and walk in peace. There is a long private road near by with no power lines, would be good for nice hike.
There is a lake at the end of the road, quite a few KM, so I may go there for a late night swim.
Maybe I can build by own chin-up part, with wood.

In my experience, paying for a gym membership is well worth the money. The floor at home can't handle deadlifting, and I do not have enough money, nor enough space for Hammer Strength benches, barbells, racks, deadlift platforms and bumper plates. I hate cardio (because of my asthma, I do not have nearly as much potential there as I have in weightlifting), but I can't afford a treadmill either.

My basement, has a concrete floor, with tiles.
I find that my Asthma has acted up less, since exercising, like I was able to mostly run a few streets when I was in Dartmouth on business. I had to deliver some packages. I parked on Ochterloney Street (sp?) near Alderney Drive, ran down Alderney Drive and ran to the other end of Portland Street by Dundas Street. I didn't run all the way, but I ran a lot further than usually. You can see it on Google amps, so you can get an idea. Normally, I could only run about 1/6 of the way if I was lucky, without an Asthma attack. I never had to use my puffer, thank God, becuase it wasn't in the car, but by the time I got back, my sides were starting to hurt. You can see on Google Maps.
I was thinking, that isn't farm I think I'll walk and get some exercise.

I have discontinued my membership as well. I didn't like the gym I was going to and I came to the conclusion that I enjoy swimming much more than all these fitness machines. It was interesting for a while but not beneficial enough for my fysical health I have decided to go swimming at least two or three times a week. Besides the fact that it keeps me fit it relaxes me as well. I am going to stick to the sauna and the pool for now.
