My GP advised me to eat more salt.
Has that been helpful for you? I got the same advice and have been consuming a ton of salt, but am still getting hypotension symptoms. Thinking about trying compression stockings, but they seem like more trouble than they'd be worth.
I don't think it has. I've started taking 14mg iron tablets.....they contain vitamin C, which helps with absorption. I take these just before bed, and on an empty stomach. Haven't been feeling as dizzy since. Weightlifting isn't as tough either.
I'd check with your GP if you plan on taking iron supplements..... it's dangerous to take high doses unless you have a deficiency. The dose I take is low (I don't have a deficiency last time they checked).
I haven't tried compression stockings. That could be an option too.
Sorry for derailing, DeepHour!
