What do you prefer?

I'm all about the butter! The taste, mm I could eat it plain and I have. I could melt a stick up in a cup and drink it straight, haven't done that yet... but it's tempting

I'll never knowingly eat margarine again. It just tastes weak, and when using it on toast it doesn't go into it right, makes it soggy... And those nasty transfats, ugh! I'll take the fat in butter over bad trans fats.

Those "Healthy Spreads" ehh, they're okay... Better than margarine, but not good enough to be in the same column as butter. At least they don't all have nasty trans fats in them.

Not a huge butter fan actually. I like toast, for example, fried in bacon grease, over butter. I pretty much prefer bacon grease or tallow, or olive oil. Olive oil is especially good on baked potatoes.

I might like butter better if it was unsalted, though.

Neither, I cook with Macadamia Oil but since I eat very little carbs I never use spread, preferring instead to top a whole grain Crisp bread with avocado and chicken or a homemade tuna spread. Yummy snacks but nooooo butter or marge, because I find them pointless if your toppings are flavoursome.

i have fantasied about this exact scenario. i have had a thing for butter for as long as i could remember. as a very young child i would sneak into the kitchen and lick butter off my fingers. my mom found out when she saw my tell-tale fingerprints in the morning. she found it so peculiar. as a teenager i would take a spoonful of butter and dip it into a brown sugar then eat it like candy.

warm melted butter is the only food that i think i would enjoy integrating into the bedroom. it's that good.

i have no idea why i have always loved it so much. shortening runs a close second, though.

I don't use either much, but margarine when I do. I dislike the taste of butter.
For cooking I have olive and and macadamia oil.

I prefer butter but I'll eat margarine if that's all that's there.
