Pick something you like. Read, read and then read some more. Anything you like. Go study it and become an expert. Find out everything you can about it. Ask yourself constantly questions like "how come?" or "why is that?" - and then find out what you can to answer those questions. And in looking for the answers, you'll learn even more.
It doesn't even matter what interesting thing you choose; it's adopting a technique of studying and questioning which does the work.

I agree with many of the suggestions before this post. I would add that maintaining cardiovascular fitness helps the intellect, from what I have read. I can't remember the source of that information, so I may need to work out more too. :lol: You sound like you work on your muscles, but don't forget the cardiovascular needs of your body (including your mind.)

I supplement my Omega 3's too by using fish oil capsules. I find that I am more creative after I take them. Ideas just seem to pop into my mind much more than usual.
