Well, like I said, Chrissy, it's just my opinion!

I understand that runners get very hooked on their sport and will run though the pain. They remind me a lot of ballerinas. Ballerinas get horrific injuries but they just carry right on. I just don't share that desire to carry on doing something if it's hurting.
Ok! Same! Haha, I have pain right now in my calf and I am not running through it. The beginners will run through their pain, the veterans know what kinds of pains they can run through and what they cannot. I can usually tell if a pain is related to injury, over-exertion, or is just plain ol' aches and pains. Then I decided if I will run through it, or what type of cross-training/rehabilitation I should got through. I think that's stupid, if you know it's an injury, you need to RICE and get better. Which reminds me, I am a super-hypochondriac. So if I feel pain, I instantly analyze it and take a course of action. Running isn't a tough person sport, it is a smart person's sport. Why else would all the skinny people (as in high school geeks) go to it, our sport is athletic and smart. But if it is just aches and pain, then of course I'll carry through it.
