Bleach is pretty effective for low marks, but the brush is good for the higher ones.

Two to three times a week for me is regular.

I had serious IBS, encopresis, and impaction for years as a child. I think my system down there is still somewhat stretched out and messed up.

But if it is new to you, you should probably see a doctor and try to figure out what is happening.

I'm 41 and have bm between 8 and 9 am daily. I do have to eat more fibre than I did when I was younger to keep regular.
Families tend to eat the same kinds of foods so your family should consider changing their diets. Regardless of what they do you should try more fibre.
If you take fibre supllements be sure to drink plenty of water.
A stronger fibre is glucomanan if you take it be sure take before you eat and double sure to drink lots of water.
Take glucomanan before eat because it will make you feel full and if you are already full it can hurt.
For this reason it is also good for diets.

If none of that works see a doctor asap. Can be sign of very serious health problems.

My entire life I've always had digestive problems. When I was younger I always experienced explosive diarrhea after drinking milk--however, my blood test results indicated that I wasn't lactose intolerant. In addition, throughout my teen years I would only experience a bowl movement once a week. Along with this came feelings of bloatation, flatulence, abdominal pain ("stabbing" pains), lack of energy, etc.

I'm now in my mid-twenties and although the symptoms haven't changed, I can at least get out 2-3 bowl movements a week. It wasn't until recent that I learned my extended family also suffers from GI issues (i.e., Ulcerative colitis, uncle hospitalized for GI issues, cousin with GI issues, and a sister that is gluten intolerant).

Right now I'm trying to eat a low-gluten diet (similar to my sister) and increase hydration along with daily activity then see if that helps.

Every day. I think you should definately see your doctor. Have you ever had a colonoscopy?
