When you train, you have an idea where you want to get to. Your vision of what's waiting for you just got clearer, and with the killing of some illusions, your training will have a higher gold to sand ratio.

I read somewhere that visualisation skills can give up to 80% of the effect of actual training (which is a lot better than no training). The hard part I find is accurate visualisation. I fall into the trap of visualising two other people performing, when it should be me looking out of the eyes of one of the two people.

What you went through can give some reality feedback for your visualisation, if you use it.

It might be a long time til you can hold your own, but you're closer now than you would have been if you hadn't gone in the ring. Congratulations.
