It's weird, though, when it's high I seem to feel more emotionally fragile so those years when it was were kind of hellish. My muscles have thinned and etc. since then so I can see the downsides, too, tho.

funny, when mine was high I was MORE emotionally stable. I guess T is one of those things where "your mileage may vary."
I researched chemical-castration meds a little a couple years ago & a few guys who had been on them said they felt alittle less agitated/angry & they also felt alittle more emotionally sensitive. Some think testosterone makes people more aggressive; in some TV shows & movies when a guy or women starts working out & developing lots of muscles the person starts acting angry. Also some people who had male dogs noticed male dogs became more calm/tame/affectionate after getting neutered. One of the things about messing with T is is that it's better for hormones to be within a certain balance.

I never had my T level checked & I don't want to. A doc would probably be concerned because it's low. Tuesday when I saw my GP for a physical she said she would encourage m to get off Finasteride because of how it lowers T but I could stay on it for now. I'm on a couple other things she doesn't know about. I had to get a blood test to check a couple things nonhormone related(kidneys, thyroid, liver, diabetics, cholesterol, B12,vitamin) I'm really hoping hormone stuff won't show up in that; they didn't call me to tell me any major problem was found but I won't know for sure till I go back next month.
