yesterday, upon getting off the bus, toes hurt, for the first time. didn't hurt that much. could still stand and walk. just not comfortable.

yesterday and today, hands (paws) frozen.

woke up. right paw opens and closes normally. left paw opens and closes but feels really stiff. paranoid of osteoporosis, arthritis, or any other medical condition like that. medical conditions that take time, $$, energy, pain, inconvenience. things like that.

my "life" has rapidly been getting much worse for a long time. and my "life" has never been that great to begin with.

I know it is easier said than done, but please keep as warm as you are able, shortfatbalduglyman. It sounds to me like your body is too cold.

Feel like getting sick but whatever

The only thing that matters is that I have health insurance

So whatever

Oh mate layers will help conserve heat, they won't give it to you if you haven't got it.

I wonder if there is a source of heat that is cheap and feels good to you. Like going to bed with a couple of hot water bottles?

I don't mean to sound patronising. I got sick once because my body was working so hard trying to maintain core body temp. It was fine once I stopped being cold.

Take care

Oh you are right. I've only had water bottles leak once or twice but I didn't enjoy it.

The only other things I can think of are exercise and those heating pads you put in the microwave.

I think what you eat also makes a difference - protein is thermogenic etc.

past couple of days, around 9-5am, it's been about 60 degrees fahrenheit where i live. (about the same as in the summer). feet have only gotten a lil cold. nowhere near unbearable. did not want or need to turn on space heater. thank buddha. afraid that if i turn on the heater, my sister will have the nerve to sell the house to punish me for high utility bills. and then if she sells the house, i won't be able to pay for rent and then end up homeless.

the past two days, before work, had to purposely jaywalk across the street, b/c there was a large, deep puddle on the way from the train station to work.

not enough crosswalks in front of work. constantly afraid of getting hit by a car. especially given the way Home Depot customers and servants drive. on the way home from work, to cross the street, there is no crosswalk. i have to cross the street, while cars coming from my direction either make a left or right turn at the "t" intersection. those cars have a green, yellow, or red light. i have to cross the street in front of cars that are trying to turn right. they do not legally have to yield to me.

yesterday, it rained after my second break, lightly and briefly. but shoes drenched, and that's pretty much the only thing that matters. even though shoes didn't get wet until 4:20pm. left work, as scheduled @ 5pm. took the bus, grocery shopping. got home just before 8pm. dinner. feet felt frozen when i went to bed @ 9. later @ 12:30, upon waking up, feet did not feel frozen.

today, according to the news, it was only 5 degrees colder than yesterday. yesterday 60F, which is not the slightest bit cold (same as in the summer). no work today. sunny all day long. but around 2pm, in my Pigpen, feet felt frozen.

yesterday, sprinkling all day long @ work. shoes wet. about 52-59 degrees F, not cold. @ 11pm, bed. feet still frozen.

sometime between 11pm and 5am awakening, feet defrosted.

shortly after waking up, feet frozen again. it's 4:30pm and feet still frozen.

briefly turned on space heater but turned it off b/c of $$$$.

i've been wounded.

defeated

reynaulds phenomenon

paranoid of frostbite or a medical condition

only left my Pigpen today to walk around the block.

Here they say 'look after the roof and the basement', that is, head and feet.

I think the body behaves in odd ways when it is cold.

Take care of yourself, shortfatbalduglyman.

Do your feet ever warm up properly? Do they get properly dry?

10am feet get warm and don't get frozen until about 7pm

All I have to do is dry my feet and they are dry

9pm to 11:30pm bed

Woke up coughing and feet unbearable frozen

Counterintuitively, after taking off three pairs of socks and a jacket, feet warmed up

It doesn't make sense but not everything makes sense
