Not a forest but more like a jungle lol. This was our back yard when I lived in California. It looks out over the valley behind that fence. I liked to sit out there at night watching airplanes come and go.

Walking in the woods is really nice.

...HOWEVER! Nature might seem pleasant at first glance, but beware the dangers that lurk there! :o

I too like to walk in the woods. I call this my"church" This is in response to Miss Lizard's earlier response. I have found a tick repellent that works for me; I spray the bottom of my pants plus my socks with cheap cologne.( dollar-tree) Bugs evidently don't like the smell and will avoid you. I was cutting wood yesterday and employed this - no ticks I have used this strategy for the last 15-20 years.




P.S. I use the cheap kind of cologne because the smell dissipates after a few hours
