The Eagles lost somehow to the Falcons. I'm going to explain why after saying YOU CAN WIN TONS AND TONS OF MONEY BY PLAYING DRAFTKINGS ONE WEEK FANTASY FOOTBALL!! ! GET A BONUS BY TYPING IN THE CODE "YOUAREASUCKERANDTHISISTHEMIDDLEAGEDMANVERSIONOFTHELOTTERY" NOW NOW NOW DON'T EVEN WAIT BECAUSE WE WANT YOUR MONEY!! !! ! (They had over 9,000 commercials the first week of the season apparently.)

I hope DraftKings makes a little crown to wear for Halloween, only to find out they made a commercial and used the power of Mega-Stonehenge to melt the heads of everyone who wore it, Season of the Witch style. That would be fantastic except for that whole death thing.

I happen to really enjoy DraftKings/DFS. Play every week. I've had mixed results, but stand at a net loss. It takes time to learn how to play the game and manage your bankroll. If you expect to just throw a lineup together with zero research (what the commercials play on) then you will most likely lose.

But there are actually people who make a living doing this. I plan on trying to make it a more serious money maker next baseball season (hopefully enough as a part time job), as fantasy baseball, sadly, is probably the thing in life Im best at.

I would love to see NBC lose the Sunday nite games, and bad-hairpiece Al Michaels retire. Their coverage is very lacklustre compared to what I've seen CBS do with Thursday nite games. I think even FOX would do way better. I'm also hoping Monday nite football will someday return to broadcast television on either CBS or FOX, or that ESPN will offer entire season syndication to locals.

I actually really like the NBC in-studio team of Dan Patrick, Rodney Harrison and Tony Dungy. To me it's far superior to FOX, I hate those guys, especially Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson. CBS crew is decent. ANd ESPN, talk about retiring... Chris Berman needs to retire with his 30 year outdated references.

Giants blow another one they should have won. They should be 2-0 and now it's 0-2. Coughlin needs to go, he is out of touch. And please, please let's cut Preston Parker! Never saw a WR with worse hands. EVER!

Bears are 0-2 as well. Such an embarrassing loss to Arizona. Are they even putting any kind of effort on the field?

Speaking of 0-2's, I'm still snickering over Seattle's start.

(Sighs) I knew the Bears would lose to Seattle.

Ravens are 0-3 for the first time in team history.

So...
Most lacklustre team so far...Ravens, Bears, or Saints?
Biggest disappointment so far...Seahawks, 49'rs, or Lions?
Biggest shocker so far...Panthers, Cardinals, or Bengals?

Gotta say most lackluster are the Bears. Even with Cutler they will be lucky to win 3 games this year.

Biggest disappointment for me have to be the Dolphins. Many people liked them to compete in the AFC East. Thats just not happening. Ryan Tannehill is just not a good QB. They made alot of moves this offseason and it looked like they'd be competitive, but other than barely beating a weak Washington team they havent done this.

Biggest surprise- Atlanta. No one can cover Julio Jones. Buffalo is quite surprising too. Everyone thought good D, will struggle to score, now it looks like their offense will be hard to contain. Tyrod Taylor is a real QB.

The Bears can't get their act together anymore than they can get a great quarterback.

People said the same about Calvin Johnson and aside from a few plays Talib contained him in mostly man coverage. Then again the Broncos pass rush is ferocious and Stafford is a middling QB at best.

Also I think it's clear Calvin has lost a step. Drawback on those taller receiver is usually they have a shorter shelf-life. And any skill position player can go from unstoppable to barely playable in no time. Just ask Andre Johnson.

I don't think Talib or any corner in the NFL can D up Julio right now. Julio torched Amakamura and he's a top 25 corner. I know there's better, but Prince had zero chance. He's a lock for almost 10 catches a game.

Now the Bears have traded Jared Allen to the Panthers. Hard to believe this is the same team that frightened other teams with defense.

Such is the nature of the NFL. very few teams dont see huge swings in their success over a decade.
