Leg day today. Did some deadlifts and squats in the sled machine. Plus a couple of accessory exercises.

Also, a bit of a lifter's rant here:

Been watching some youtube lifting vids and always end up laughing when people defend lifters who use crappy or non existent form. Stop excusing this trash and maybe people won't lift like idiots, because people DO copy this stuff. Especially when these garbage lifts are done by renowned fitness youtubers. Rules are still rules and they exist for a reason.

I started doing armored combat within the SCA about a month ago; trying to build up my endurance as well as get used to the gear!

I had a day off, so I hammered out another solid chest day.

Also, I've had issues with squatting to proper depth and it's really annoying me. I have trouble getting low enough, and even if I do, as soon as I start pushing up I start falling backward. I'm trying to do a lot more stretching so that I can get to depth and raise up without issue, but it's really frustrating. :( There's no way that I'm going to even try to push heavy weight until I can get my balance and get depth without issue. Until then I'm just going to use the free weight sled machine, and maybe do goblet squats or something.

Maybe it's a blessing in disguise because my lower body flexibility is ass in general. And this whole thing is making me have to address it.

Armored practice yesterday was awesome as always; I have a hard time delivering shots with power though. That err...might have something to do with the fact that my body is still adapting to the weight of the arm armor, shield and rattan sword. By the end, my shoulders were just killing me!

Today I did 2 miles on the treadmill at 8mph. Not in armor this time (hoodie though!); the weather was stormy outside and I didn't feel like biking, lol. The last 1/4 mile was a push!

Just went for a 10.5 kilometre run again today.... Managed to catch sunny weather even though it was *snowing* earlier today....

Final score: GGPViper: 1 - Unpredictable Danish Weather: 0. :D

In total, I've run more than 50 kilometres this week... I think I'm getting the hang of it...

22 km cycle through the national park - nice.
The first 7 Km's were uphill (feel the burn).
Tried to keep around 25 kph.
