I still don't think that is a good idea.

Retired RB LaDainian Tomlinson has had his number '21' retired by the Chargers.

Here's a fun fact: no sports team from Philadelphia has won a game at home this month. The three teams are a combined 0-12.

Here's another fun fact: it is the 3 year anniversary of the Buttfumble today, so Mark Sanchez has done worse.

Weather trivia...
In the Otto Graham days of the Cleveland Browns (1950's), the field used to freeze so hard that the team took off their cleats and played the winter home games in Converse "Chuck" sneakers instead so they wouldn't go skating.

(^Speaking of Philadelphia, that's supposed to be the early Eagles in the dark jerseys from what I understand^).

The Panthers are the 16th team to 11-0.

The Bears won! Against Green Bay! IN Green Bay!

I'm happy for you this time, Kyle. Winning in Lambeau this time of year is indeed impressive.

Bears still suck. :P

The Packers WR corp has to be the most overrated of all time, without Jordy Nelson nobody can get open. Cobb has been so disappointing and honestly should be a candidate to get cut if doesn't improve, none of these guys can get any separation against anyone. I wish they'd play Jeff Janis more, he's like the only receiver on our roster with any breakaway speed and he's a big guy to boot, I really like his potential. Davante Adams has been awful this year, beyond awful. We need a quality TE desperately, I really miss Jermichael Finley

I've been a Jets fan since the 1969 Super Bowl.

With apologies for the back-2-back posts,
Does anyone know how long it's been since ALL FOUR AFC West teams won their games on the same Sunday?

Also...

Did anyone understand the clock issue at the end of the Denver-Patriots game Sunday night?

Strange rule applied there. Denver had to use a timeout since they had an injured player with less than 2 minutes left. Since they were out of timeouts, the rule was to grant them an "extra" one for this situation. The strange part was that unlike other timeouts, the clock restarted on the ready to play instead of on the snap. The Patriots were unaware of this quirk and let 15 seconds or so of needed time elapse from the game clock.

I'm a huge Philadelphia Eagles fan. I always think it's kind of pathetic that I like American Football so much and give it so much thought even though I could never play it probably. Still, it's one of the most intelligent sports, I think. And also one of the most athletic ones, I know. But it's like human chess. I love it.

I agree. For example as a soccer fan I know that I would never want to play a Russian team in the winter, and as a fan of an Israeli team I know that we have an advantage in the summer, especially when my team is from Tel-Aviv where we have high humidity. That's part of the game. That's why I don't like domes. I remember when Maccabi played a soccer match in Stoke. Stoke is famous for having a rainy weather in their home ground, and a pitch which doesn't handle it the best way possible. But that's part of the game. Games shouldn't feel like they're played in a neutral ground. When you face a northern team in the playoffs you should expect hard conditions, and the players of the local team should be adapted to it by training in the same climate.

I also think that's the "compensation" for not hosting the Super Bowl like the southern towns.

Do we really want a league in which there's no difference between various stadia? Or do we prefer a league in which stadiums have a unique feature? And if not exactly unique, at least not shared by too many other teams.

Ugh, Bears lost in overtime. They should have been able to win this one.

The Panthers are officially in the playoffs.

Sorry about your Bears, Kyle.
However I'm so excited about the Broncos win and even more with the Patriots' second loss in a row. Brady's pouting at the end totally made my Sunday. Thank you Eagles!

Also how 'bout Rivers losing his cool after receiving his fourth sack at his "Cinderella" team's home loss to Denver?
