So close. They got 24 unanswered points but fell short. Panthers move on!

Being a Broncos fan, my prediction for the game:

Broncos 20, Steelers -7. Rothlisberger, being injured, goes for treatment at a CU frat house the night before the game gets arrested for rape (again) and spends the game in the pokey. Likewise Peyton takes a double dose of HGH and some steroids for good measure (and being Peyton, the NFL and fans instinctively look the other way because there's too much money and too many emotions invested in him for it to be true). This gives him the ability to throw the ball more than 10 yards for the first time in 2 seasons spelling doom for the Steelers. Both defenses play well, but the Broncos have the better one and a juiced up quarterback so they win the game.

Bank on it.

:lmao:^^
Okay I just placed an online bet on the Broncos with my bookie. If I win the pizza I'll save you a slice.

Looks like Peyton's 'roids did the trick in the 4th quarter, Broncos are still alive, and I'm ordering the Pizza Wed.

Panthers dominate Cardinals.

It's the two number 1 seeds: Panthers Vs. Broncos.

Broncos win! Payton Manning has 200 career wins!

I don't know about Manning, but Seahawks RB Marshawn Lynch has retired.

I wish Cam Newton would have went for that fumble! He really made himself look bad.

Not as bad as in the post-game press conference.

I think he'll grow up, and learn from this experience.

He'll probably apologize to some people pretty soon.

He has to put things in perspective: he makes millions of dollars a year, and gets $52,000 extra for being on the LOSING team.

I dunno...maybe the coach told him not to risk injury---and he took that advice too seriously (pertaining to not trying to recover the fumble).

I think Cam is getting savaged to much for not diving on that ball, I thought he was anticipating it popping out. I dunno, it's unfortunate either way. Cam is a great quarterback, maybe the most physically gifted one I've seen play, he a has a bright future ahead of him. People really need to give Denver respect for the defense, best one since 2000 Ravens for sure I think. Von Miller, DeMarcus Ware, Cam didn't has a chance facing pressure like he did. Amazing defensive performance from both teams. Peyton really didn't play well really ever this year, this is about as assbackwards as you can get into winning a Superbowl ring but hey Trent Dilfer has 1 too. I really hope Peyton retires, when you have a chance to go out like that then take it an run.

One thing that bothered me was Peyton, I was kind of into this idea that this was his goodbye to the game but he ends the Superbowl plugging his commercial products. I heard to first person he looked for after the game wasn't his wife or kids but Papa John, like of Papa John's Pizza which Peyton owns like a big percentage of. So much product placement, Peyton wants that Budweiser money.

I'll have to see if he explained why he didn't dive for the ball.

It doesn't really matter all that much in the grand scheme of things. I don't think he's a punk, coward, whatever. He could have been caught up in the moment, felt a little anxious.

You're right, Cam will get over it--and he has a great career ahead of him. He's already scored an amazing amount of rushing touchdowns.

In life, one must experience adversity in order to feel the "highest" pleasures.
