I wish I had these four days streaks y'all got going. I keep getting interrupted by stuff. Today's run was lovely and complete with me overheating while running at 6pm. Thank you NOLA. I got all excited the other day cuz I bought this cooling headband and my dumb butt forgot it today. Tomorrow dough...me and that handband are gonna rock it.

He he, typical

I do the exercise routine Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, but I also have to go for walks every day. The walks are also "prescribed" by my physiotherapiest.

Cool headbands are fun.

Funny story
Mowing lawn is a chore I make more motivating by calling it exercise.
Last time it was so hot, I had to
A. Wear a head band
B. Put antiperspirant on my bald head.

Summers cut down my work hours so I have more free time to
work out.

Swam 26 laps this morning.
WP won't accept a cute swim emoji.
Here's me with chlorinated eyes

I wish I could do my walks....but my right knee is swollen--water on the knee.

How do I prevent this from happening again? It's so frustrating!

...aaaaannnd I am done!

Kraftiekortie: I don't know anything about swollen knees, but I googled and this cite http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/article ... php?page=2 seems to be quite informative. I didn't read it all... but under the treatment section it says it varies on what the causes of the swollen knee is. So maybe that is where you need to start?

If you are lucky it heales on its own, and you can try going for walks again, starting out slow :)

Thanks, Froya.

It's happened before, and it does heal on its own--but it was the OTHER knee LOL

This time, it's lasting longer. If it doesn't go away in a few days, I might have to see a doctor.

By the way, what do you do for exercise?

If it has happened before, and it was the other knee, it might be something to get checked out yes. I can totally understand your frustration though.

I do exercises to strengthen the muscles in certain parts of my body. I will try to find the correct translations for the different exercises and post it here.

Could be the start of another ventriliquist without a puppet routine.

When I work out I do this:

4x20 - Squats
3x10 - Bulgarian split squats
4x15 - Hip lifts
30 to each side - Quadruped arm opposite leg raise
10 - Quadruped positin
30 to each side - Quadruped rotations with lifting one arm at the time with a botle filled with water to give it some weight, and follow the movement with the eyes.
10 - Plank
20 - A version of "superman exercise"
3x15 - Situps (to the sides, to work on the muscles on the side of the abdomin)
15 - Lifting and rolling the shoulders back and down, and then the same motion in reverse.
At the end I do some stretching of the
neck.

I do not recommend doing these exercises without learning the correct techniques from a professional. watching videos on youtube, can also give you good guidance.

Thank you.

How long do you walk when you walk?

I usually either walk 3.65 miles, or 5.8 miles (I usually walk two paths). I walk at about 4 MPH.

In the 1990s, I did three New York City Marathons, two of them in under 4 hours.

I,ve deffinetley never run a marathon, or been in shape to be able to.

You meant this as irony right........? If not, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to offend you.
I just interpreted it that way, and it made me laugh
