Hello everyone! Here is my race report of this years Reedy Race of Champions.

Reedy Touring Race of Champions 2015.

My dad and I knew that we were going against a stacked field of drivers this year. But we had prepared the best way we could for 5 months.

Practice went ok but we were still behind the competition for the remainder of the day. The next day came seeding. This is where your 3 best laps are tallied up and if you have the three fastest laps you will start first in round one of qualifying. I was seeded 16th and at the end of the day was the first round of qualifying. Unfortunately in the first qualifier I broke my chassis after spinning out twice hitting the wall at 45 mph. The next day I ran my second qualifier with my alternate car. At the end of qualifying a qualified 16th overall I had missed the A main for the first time in my career at the Reedy Race.

Up next came the mains. I was in the B main I didn't care how well I did I just wanted to have a good time. I go off to a decent start in the first B main I had battle with one of the drivers. I placed 4th in the first B main. The next race went better for me and I had placed third overall. The third and final B main was my worst I got of to a bad start. I got passed by the driver behind me I was able to make a pro impasse I'm driver in front of me however on the same lap as I forgot to brake and the driver behind me got by again. I ended up six that round. And came third in the B main.

Even though I mean I've made A main had a hard weekend, I was glad that my dad I got a chance the race. This is one the biggest races in the world and being a part of it is just a special is winning.

This last weekend I competed in the Tamiya Grand Prix club race in the 17.5 Touring class and the GT 10 class. I won the 17.5 Touring car class by a decent margin. And in the GT 10 class, I came from last in qualifying and would place 2nd overall in the A main. It was successful weekend! My next race is the Tamiya Nationals- August 22nd-23rd in the front wheel drive class and the GT prospec class.

Yesterday I competed in the 12 hours of Tamiya race. I was in a five man team. The race was pretty rough because we kept on breaking but I managed as well as my team. Our servo (electronic device that helps your car steer) kept breaking down we're always constantly replacing them. We raced at night with LED headlights on our radio control cars. Our team finished racers it was hard but I had fun. This is my last race of the year I'm going to be taking a break until January and then I'll be getting ready for the Tamiya Nationals next year to go for my third tamiya national championship
