Todays efforts were good! I did some progress on the plank exercise. The more pain, the more gain. I can actually feel my thighs are harder when I tense the muscles. I don't know how long I will be able to keep up the motivation though.

I've been away for a bit needing a mental vaca, but now I'm back for the time being. I had stopped exercising to study for a final and write a few papers, but I restarted on Wed which was difficult. I'm still doing Shaun T and Max 30 Insanity. I did "Sweat Fest" on Wed and last night I did "Max Cardio". I wasn't going to exercise tonight because I still hurt really bad all over, but I'm feeling guilty AND I slept really good for several hours which over the last couple weeks my sleeping has majorly sucked. Last night I did "Max Cardio" in 40 min which was a 30 min workout with 10 extra min of breaks which isn't too bad from what I had been doing so I still got it I guess. As my Aspie friend would say (and you know who you are) - that's BADASS! Tonight I think I'm going to do "Friday Fight". Wednesday, I ended up needing a full respiratory treatment because I was really having trouble breathing at the end and I'm thinking it was because of my 2 weeks off. I did half a treatment last night and tonight I'm going to try none. So I'm going to go get set up.....

I've done two workouts this week which is useful, was quite warm again so didn't want to work out due to the annoying sensory issues which arrive with free flowing sweat and excessive movement combining with already uncomfortable temperatures but persevered as I don't like to go below a minimum of two workouts a week even if my mood and sensory stuff is affecting me badly. I am happy with my physical progress as my mantra is 'well if I manage to look reasonable right now when life improves a little more I'll have a good routine drilled into me from over the last five years of steady persistence!'.

1219 in and I need another break cause my legs are killing me. drink and back in.
17 in and I need another break because of breathing this time. few minutes then back in.
needed a break again after genie jumps. 7 min of pure hell left to go

Well, here's another, then... 8)

Here are my stats from today's run... same distance...

Image
I actually managed to run 8 seconds faster per kilometre... at a 9 BPM lower heart rate,,, :?: 8O  ... (which is why I burned fewer calories even though I ran the trip 2 minutes and 24 seconds faster)

Oh, and I feel like an overcooked noodle right now... damn I'm tired... :tired:

Yowzer. Have you thought about adding wrist or leg weights? That might increase the weight loss or help increase muscle.

PS: looks like you have some great IV veins going on there. I tend to notice those kind of things.

Time to exercise with Shaun. No time for small talk, let's just get on with it. Tonight is Sweat Fest.
crap its hard to catch my breath. im so tired of that bs. im going to try to push through without a breathing treatment.
i think im going to have to stop and do a treatment because im breathing deep but it just doesn't seem like it getting in there s**t
I have to stop my chest is too tight i did a breathing treatment and now im just trying to wait it out

Swam laps and spin class yesterday

Tonight Hatha Yoga.

Is that a ragdoll cat in the avatar? 8)

After 6 months as a feral we brought in a part ragdoll kitten inside.
Exercising stream of conscience.

I worked out yesterday, after seriously considering to give it all up, during the weekend. So hopefully I have gotten some new motivation.

I'm glad you've gotten new motivation.

Please don't give up exercising if you're healthy. That wouldn't be good at all.

^Thank you. If I can keep it up for 3-4 months which is what the physiotherapist has prescribed, it would be very good. But I will not keep this up forever, that I can promise.

But you can still do your walks, right?

^Daily walks is part of the prescription. Otherwise it's not often I go for walks.

Have you started swimming?
