Another half-marathon...

No new record, so no picture for documentation this time either...

Ran it at 1:44:00 (rounded up)... and this time, I was neither timing nor pacing myself... So it was a much more relaxing run... and I got to admire the scenery...

These are the two lakes I run around on my route...

Yeah, I did it again! It feels a little bit better now that I do the exercises correct (or at least I think I do). I did need some correction on some of the exercises, well actually on all of them

A little over two miles on the treadmill today. I like to do cardio at least once a week for 30+ minutes. 2 mile minimum. I also set aside a day a week for weightlifting.

Wish I could still get basketball in these days, but alas, no opportunities anymore ... :(

Hit my first workout of the week, full session despite my great irritation at the heat and extra sweating, also had a jog the night before, was carrying a rucksack of shopping so not ideal but I needed to ensure I put in my cardio work and didn't wanna exert myself tonight after putting up with a waterfall of sweatage!

A 3/4-mile swim is a very substantial swim.

Now that my knees are pretty much shot, I'll have to try swimming.

I did three marathons back in the 1990s.

Had a workout on tuesday with the weights and sit ups, squats and bicycle kicks, not done another as too hot to overdo things, I hate the sensory issues sweltering weather brings but I have managed a good jog on wednesday eve when it was cooler and a short jog earlier today so cardio is fine too.
