I know how to drive, i have taken test drives with my friends. I just havent had the opportunity to get a drivers license.

...Given the average speed i keep in TDU, maby the world is better of me not having a license :D

I have my drivers license. However, I chose to ride my bike everywhere.

I learned to drive when I was 15. First I learned to hot-wire, then I learned to drive. (note to kids: don't do this at home)

this is health related?

Driving can be a sport (as it's the Health, Fitness, and Sports forum). I guess it belongs here. Oh well.

I can drive but I don't like it and rarely do it. I get overloaded with my surroundings, especially on roads where there are road lights on two or more corners in a row... I misinterpret which set of lights I should be paying attention to.

I LOVE driving! Winding around those twisty narrow coastal roads, and going as fast as you can on large sweeping highways... no more amazing feeling! I've been driving since I was 12, where I used to drive dad's ute around the farm, great times. I had absolutely no problem driving per se, it was almost instinctive for me...except for when i started getting formal lessons, and people told me how to change gears. The moment i started thinking about how to do it all my instinctive knowledge failed and I had to learn again from scratch. That always confused me!

BUT I don't like city driving much though, or with music on/people talking to me because there's too much outside stimulus e.g. I have to watch what 5 other cars are doing in the lanes next to me and it gets confusing. I also get really really mad/embarrased when people get angry at me or I stall, and it mucks up my concentration. I always have to look at the traffic lights 5 times to make sure they haven't changed, and I have to know exactly what streets I'm going to drive up.

I love driving and I've had my provisional licence for 2 years now. I still have some trouble with things, like judging the width and length of my car etc. when it comes to getting into tight spots. I avoid parallel to kurb parking for this very reason, unless there are no other cars in front or behind.
