Yeah but... yuck. Expensive and tastes nasty. And you have to combine it with exercise- I'm far too lazy for that! I mean heck, I don't even have a leotard or coloured leg warmers- how am I supposed to exercise?

If you don't have any gluten /casein issues, you might want to switch to a diet consisting of Carbs (Pasta,Bread.Potatoes) as well as lots of stuff fried in butter or lard. That's one way of putting on weight fast.

Unfortunately I've been struggling with my weight post-pregnancy with both of my sons, I started pre-pregnancy with Dylan (my 4yr old moderate HFA son) at 135lbs (bear in mind I'm 5'1" in height), I gained about 50-55lbs during pregnancy with him. After pregnancy with him I lost from 190lbs (at 40 wks 2 days pregnant) down to 155lbs and had a hard time getting back down to ideal weight for my height of 127-132lbs (give or take). By the time I went for my first prenatal appt. with Brendon (my 2 yr old NT son), I was 167lbs pre-pregnancy, gained up to 202lbs (at 37-38 wks when I had c-section with him. So gained about 35-40lbs give or take during that pregnancy and lost down from 202lbs to about 172lbs within the first few wks. I had excessive amniotic fluid during both pregnancies and it was easier it seems to lose fluid weight than any other weight. I had a tubal ligation after they took Brendon out during the c-section and ever since that darn tubal ligation, my hormones have been screwed and starting to now wonder if that is what is causing me to be barely able to lose any weight as I've been at the same weight give or take 5lbs or less since about 2 months postpartum with my youngest son. I've been walking and all and trying to exercise but it's not easy when having advanced osteoarthritis in both knees and being limited to what I can do without landing myself in severe pain. I weighed myself at the outlaws (hubby's parents) the other day and I was 165lbs... just need to lose a lot more before I'll be reviewed again as a candidate for cartilage transplants for my knees due to the fact I have next to none left. It sucks. :(

Well I used to be very overweight, but then I stopped eating for two weeks and just shrank! Now I'm too underweight!

I've done some emotional eating over the past 6 days. I probably gained a pound, this week. I'm going to start a reward system, so that I don't keep going up and down. Maybe $2 in a canister for each day that I stay On Programme with my Weigh Watchers. I can't keep going up and down. I pay for the Bloody meetings. My pitfall is that I love my Sweets, and Sweets have a lot of Carbs. Carbs...the more you eat, the more you want!

Strangely enough, I was once short on money for food, so I made brownies using a box of brownie mix. I had a bowl of cereal for breakfast and then ate two brownies every few hours. I managed to lose a little bit of weight that week without feeling hungry. I thik I'm going to try to do this more often since I have relatively little weight to lose.

Now, that's a Diet that I can stick to. :D

I, for one, approve of the healthier options at fast food restaraunts. Sometimes, because of location and/or budget, fast-food places are the only places you can eat, so it helps to not have to live on fattening stuff. And I like being able to get a salad instead of fries with my Spicy Chicken Fillet sandwich at Wendy's.

And yeah, I've been struggling with my weight ever since first grade or so, and more so since college. I'm currently about 100 lbs above what I should weigh, and it ain't muscle. And I acknowledge that it's largely due to poor diet and exercise habits, but whenever I try to change my lifestyle, I'm usually only successful for about 10 days.

I was overweight for most of my life until last year. I lost between 30 and 40 pounds (I didn't have the nerve to get on the scale at my heaviest) which makes quite the difference on someone short like me.

The picture I posted of myself in the pics thread where I am standing outside is my "after" pic.

I don't follow a strict diet anymore, but I try to get at least one fruit serving in per day, and I don't eat out all that often.

i'm normal... i only weigh a bit more than i look cuz of muscle from all these sports. i'm like 130 something and i'm 5'3"... can't stand diets. i used to think i was fat (and furthermore i'd freak out over this false fact) but now i realize i'm fine so i just try to stay healthy and not eat too much, go running every day, you know... the usual.

the thing is, people can't believe i wear a size 7/9 pants - what is up with that?

If you're referring to junior sizes, I can believe it. I'm about the same height/weight as you and wear a similar size in juniors pants.

k good... it's kind of annoying when everyone has this standard to fit into a size 3 pants. I've gotten so many, "you're not a size 9! you've GOT to be a size 3 or 5!" comments. Everyone apparently needs to look like they're a size 3 too. Isn't this stupid? it doesn't matter what size people wear as long as they're comfortable with it... i don't want to be a size 3
