I am obsessed with sports but I am rather clumsy to play.

Tried taking up rowing, capsized TWICE! I discovered years later that it is due to not being able to get my left hand to work at the same time as my right and my left arms are weaker than my right.

I run rather awkwardly.

Not that good at basketball

Can't kick footballs

Fall off push bikes rather easily

I can swim however, although lousy in the pool - prefer the beach.

I used to be bad at endurance sports but i was out of shape. i'm not good at sports that require a lot of coordination (like ball sports) but i'm good at other sports like rowing, biking, swimming. i've also been very strong my whole life so i'm good at things that require strength, like rowing, wrestling, etc.

I have asthma as well. it makes it difficult to get good at endurance sports if you don't have an inhaler but it's not impossible. i used asthma as an excuse (not saying you are) for years, just blaming my poor performance on it, but in reality i was just out of shape. i do fine if i use my inhaler, and now it really only bothers me when i'm doing exercise at an intensity that produces lactic acid, if i'm doing aerobic exercise it generally doesn't bother me unless it's really humid or i have a cold.

there are also olympians with asthma, so it's not impossible to get over it. a tv show was talking about how the Beijing olympics might be very difficult for those with asthma because of the poor air quality.

I managed PE and enjoyed sports like soccer and floor hockey, but I have lousy body memory and not the best hand eye coordination. Oh and I am so slow when I'm walking. People often wanted me to hurry up when I was out with the friends I once had. Could never get the hang of swimming either :?

If I'm listening to music and able to free dance people say I'm not a bad dancer. But when I took adult ballet I had the flexibility and could feel the music, but had lousy body memory. Two years later and I still couldn't lead the class and the regular opening exerersices. I finally quite, but I didn't want to because had I been more coordinated I would have been ready to wear toeshoes.

I am terrible at sports don't have any interest and they get so boring. I was my dad's worst nightmare while all the other little boys were paying attention to the ball game I was chasing a butterfly or something.
