I'm on the cross country and track teams at my university. I run the 6k in cross country and the 10k in track. I'm kind of crazy, but I like to run lol. Anyways, while in season, I run about 40 miles (or about 240 kilometers) per week, about an hour and a half per day. We also lift three times per week for about an hour and a half per session. It's a lot of time, but I think it's awesome. Not only does it help me with keeping in shape, it also helps me to have a social group and have something to work towards besides school. It's a nice study break. Plus, if I need help with school, the cross country and track team usually are smart cookies. It's a lot of fun, and it's an individual and a team sport built into one. My theory is that it's almost the perfect physical sport for us aspies.
