Anyone here on any meds related to anxiety/depression or something? I just got put on Zoloft this week, I'm wondering about people's experiences.

I'm doing a 25mg half-dose right now. Since I started, I just haven't really worried about the usual stuff. Like I'll think about them but I don't really panic like usual.

you probably read this in another post, but i will live up to my username and repeat it.

have long been on a beta blocker, it got rid of my intentional tremor and a lot of my generalized anxiety. hey, it works! :)

had to drop it due to GERD and lack of insurance fundage, but while i was on it, strattera was the most! it had a subtle effect at first, came in like a lamb and then made itself known through quasi-normal mental functioning, IOW my aspieness temporarily abated in its most disabling aspects. it made me feel much smarter, organized and happier/more loving. i recommend it highly [unless you have GERD already].

concerta also worked but not as well as the strattera, plus it made me cross and i lost 20 pounds which actually was a GREAT[! !!] side effect for a drug to have! that part of it made me HAPPPY!

norpramin [for dysthymia] was effective but made me somewhat cross, helped me to lose weight but made me flushed/hot-flashed and sweaty like a pig! i hated those parts of it.

hope this was helpful for you. take care :)

Prozac made me lethargic and emotionally flat so I stopped taking it. Going to try an ampakine next (Aniracetam) and later possibly an SSRE (Stablon).

vaginal dry ness, from yelling at my girlfriend putting her out of the mood, leading to a complete disappearance of vagina when she finally had enough and left me
